Leadership training is a key part of NASCO’s service offerings. This course consists of a three to five day program designed to strengthen participants' leadership skills, foster teamwork, and deepen their understanding of safety specific to their facility. The waterpark setting serves as an ideal training environment, allowing leadership concepts to be integrated with real-world operational strategies.

Each facility’s management team selects motivated young adults to attend the course. Participants typically have between one and five years of experience and demonstrate a strong desire to grow both personally and professionally, while contributing to the success of their organization.

While the training covers a range of leadership topics, NASCO’s Top Gun program allows participants to help shape the course by identifying areas where they feel they need the most development.

The course includes both classroom instruction and hands-on activities designed to encourage group interaction and active participation. NASCO emphasizes a learning-by-doing approach, with both students and facilitators engaging collaboratively. The ultimate goal is to promote leadership and enhance safety through shared learning.
